Blog Header Inspiration
From my fashion and costuming classes as well as reading blogs, I've learned inspiration boards are always a good idea. Here's mine for what I want to do with the new blog's header!

STH Revamp
After careful consideration, I have decided I don't really like to sew
that much. So, why do I have a sewing blog?
As you can see, most of my
posts have been about fashion and other things, not so much the sewing
projects I've done (still working on pillows from at least a month ago).
Therefore, a sewing blog doesn't make much sense, now does it?
So, I'll be writing a new blog based on the things I do love. I'll reveal it in three days on Friday! And to give you a hint of the name, here
are a few things I love to do!
1. Nom!
2. Create!

Carolina Cup Outfit
I have found my Cup dress! I had two stressful weeks of no, I can't wear
that because of x, y and z. Repeat. But after many hours spent online
shopping, I have finally found a dress. And now I'll reveal my Cup
outfit!
Drum roll, please....

11 Days!
I have 11 days to find a dress. And for Patrick to possibly find a
matching bow-tie (because, c'mon, that would be so cute!). I don't know
that I'll rent a dress anymore since I completely forgot you have to add
in shipping and tax and some other charge. So I may as well buy a dress
for all that.

Carolina Cup: Hats
Like Chloe Moretz's cute straw fedora-like topper at VC's Gold Cup |
And on the other, I want to get a pic on the Carolina Cup site. Thinking of making something like this....

Carolina Cup 2012: Rent the Runway
Hello all! So Carolina Cup is in 18 days! I'm thinking of actually renting a dress since it's cheaper. Have you ever used Rent the Runway? It's a lovely little website (actually, it's really extensive) that allows you to rent designer clothes and accessories for any event! And, they even send you two sizes in case one doesn't quite fit. So - drum roll, please - here are my rental choices for the big race!
Aren't those rental prices killer!?

Carolina Cup is Coming Up!
Lately, I've been thinking about Carolina Cup, probably because it's coming up in less than a month - eek! And I need to find my outfit. Stat! If I decide I don't want to buy a Lilly dress
because I'll probably be moving North following graduation, and let's
be honest, Lilly prints look a bit out of place above the Mason-Dixon
line, even if it isn't snowing just yet.
I've got a few almost all-Lilly options, each one is pretty different. Vote for your favorite!

Inspiration: Design Darling
For a little inspiration, check out Design Darling! She has a super-cute logo and a list of 101 things to do in 1,001 days - how awesome is that? She calls it a combo bucket-and-to-do-list. I've been meaning to make one of those.... And she has a shop - something I totally want to do. And make a restaurant. And sew without having to try (ha!).
